Mountain Phoenix Community School (MPCS), located in Wheat Ridge, CO, was created in 2006 to provide school choice for the mountain family communities of Coal Creek Canyon and in the past year has proven to be a desired alternative for families in the suburbs of Denver, as well. The lovely historical campus sitting on 4.3 acres @ I-70 & Kipling, houses five buildings, including a science lab, computer lab, indoor Great Hall, library, historic barn, classrooms & offices. Maximum class size is 26 students, with two classes of each grade (6 mixed prek-kinder classrooms). MPCS will provide a nurturing atmosphere and quality education for students pre-school through grade 8 for the 2012-13 school year.
