Family Soup Table and Values Workshop Inspired by the “Soul of Discipline” – 12/7

Family Soup Table and Values Workshop Inspired by the “Soul of Discipline” – 12/7

Wednesday, December 7 | 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. | Great Hall

The Diversity and Inclusivity Committee would like to warmly invite you and your family to a family soup table and values workshop. During this season of gratitude, we will come together to share a delicious meal, enjoy one another’s company, and then do an art-based project with our loved ones to explore our family values that is inspired by Kim John Payne’s The Soul of Discipline. Each family will identify several values that guide them and then depict them on a family shield. Everyone will have the opportunity to share their creations over dessert.

Our goal is to create a family-friendly, community-building event that gives everyone the opportunity to take a step back, slow down, and focus in on what they hold dear as we go into this whirlwind season of merriment.

Contribute to the Potluck

Please bring a crock pot of your favorite soup or some bread to share. Sign up here to let us know what you will be able to contribute.
