How do we foster imagination, creativity, and healthy social skills even as we lay the foundations for innovative problem solving and multiple intelligences in today’s children?

This talk by Karl Johnson M.A., an experienced educator and child developmentalist, draws on modern brain research and shows how Waldorf Education supports the full and healthy development of children.

Karl David Johnson, M.A.

Karl David Johnson M.A. has been an educator for 35 years and has taught in the Waldorf movement since 1986.  He has served as Pedagogical Director at two schools, Class Teacher, Orchestra Director, Educational Support Specialist and has taught at the High School level.

An experienced mentor and consultant, Karl has mentored teachers at dozens of schools and has trained teachers and conducted workshops in China, Nepal, New Zealand, the Hawaiian Islands, Canada, Mexico, and the U.S.  He currently serves on the faculty of Gradalis Institute – a Waldorf teacher training institute.
