Administration Spotlight: Jen Chace
What was your path to MPCS?
I came to Waldorf through my three children, all of whom went to Maine Coast Waldorf School from nursery through twelfth grade. I was a parent volunteer for many years before beginning the teacher training program at Antioch. I eventually finished teacher training and brought a class from grade one through eight at MCWS, carrying various leadership positions through the years. In the last couple of years, I became interested in exploring administrative and structural solutions to help Waldorf teachers be more successful and satisfied in their jobs, as well as in researching worthwhile alternatives to the private Waldorf school model. I knew I wanted to try something completely new after graduating my class this spring, and Mountain Phoenix is the perfect fit!
