Enrollment

It is the mission of the Mountain Phoenix Community School to provide an arts-based, developmentally appropriate education that nurtures the whole child: Head, Heart and Hand. As a Jefferson County charter school our educational program is free and open to all students through the choice enrollment process.

Open Enrollment Process

To maintain the integrity of our educational mission and best meet the needs of our students, we must ensure that shared values and common purpose exist between the school and its families. To that end, families interested in enrolling their child at Mountain Phoenix Community School are asked to observe the following process:

1. Interested families are first encouraged to become familiar with the Waldorf developmental and artistic approach to education.
2. Visit our campus, with your child if possible, to gain a living experience of MPCS.  Call the office to schedule your visit during one of our school tours.
3. Complete and submit the Enrollment Packet and Student Information Card. These documents are available on the website or from the MPCS office. The date of receipt is recorded for all completed enrollment documents to determine enrollment priority. In the event the school becomes oversubscribed students will be placed on a waitlist based on the date that enrollment documents were received.
4. Read and agree to school policies and procedures described in the Parent Handbook.
5. Enrollment Conference: before placement can be confirmed parents must attend an enrollment conference to review the Enrollment Packet.

OPTION 1: Register Online You may fill out and submit the online enrollment form.  We will contact you to confirm receipt of your enrollment form within the next business day or as soon as possible.
