May Faire & Grandparents Day – 5/5

mayfairephoto.jpgAs the flowers and animals awaken from their winter’s sleep, the community gathers to celebrate spring with music and dancing with colorful ribbons at the May Faire.

Grandparents’ Day is a wonderful tradition that gives our elders the opportunity to be part of our beautiful May Faire celebration. Equally important, it allows our students to show their gratitude and appreciation for the precious role that their elders play in their lives.

Mountain Phoenix Community School’s May Faire and Grandparents Day will be held on Friday, May 5 this year. These events are celebrated with a welcome breakfast for our elders, flower crown construction in the classrooms, and Maypole dances.

In order to make this day special and run smoothly, we would like to know who is planning on attending. Please RSVP with the number of Grandparents or significant elders attending and which children/classrooms they will be visiting. To RSVP, please click here.

Parents are welcome to attend the dances. However, please keep in mind that parking will be limited and the school day resumes after the Maypole dances.

There will be more information on the schedule and ways you can support these festivals soon. If you would like to help on the May Faire/Grandparents Day Committee, please contact Leah at
