Parent Council

The role of the Parent Council is to support the Mission of Mountain Phoenix Community School, programs, students, teachers and staff.Parent Council fulfills this by fundraising, creating opportunities for volunteerism and providing parent enrichment while supporting the culture of the MPCS through committees.

There are many seasonal festivals that occur throughout the calendar/school year that are part of the culture in a Waldorf school. The festivals reunite us with nature. Each festival has its own committee…We encourage you to join whichever ones speak to you. There are many other ongoing means of fundraising throughout the year aside from participating in festivals and the MPCS annual auction. We invite you to attend our monthly Parent Council Meetings, the second Tuesday of each month. Please feel free to contact one of the PC Board members if you have any questions or would like to learn more about getting involved.

MPCS is an asbestos-free school. Copies of our Asbestos Management Plan are located in both the main and middle school offices for public viewing.
