Current Volunteer Projects

Fencing

Erich Niermann has committed to being Project Manager of the fencing project (no, we’re not teaching the kids sword play). His goal is to make calculations on the immediate perimeter of the school building and play area, and research the most beneficial materials.  Once these stages are complete, a few of us will sit down and work on a grant to hopefully pay for the materials and contact several companies that typically get involved in community projects to see if they’d assist us in getting the fence up.  Thank you so much Erich for jumping in with both feet.  For more information, or to volunteer to assist with this project, call Erich at 303-807-9528.

Biodynamic Gardens

On another note, but still outside, Kenny Fischer has taken on heading up the site layout for the School’s biodynamic gardens, landscaping, and playground areas.  As Project Manager, Kenny will head up a design committee, solicit ideas from students and staff, and run final plans past Mike, our illustrious leader.  Kenny, you’re a real champ!  Thank you.  To learn more about biodynamic gardening, visit this wonderful website:  http://www.biodynamics.com/. For more information, or to volunteer to assist with this project, call Kenny at 303-642-7759.

Current Fundraising Projects

Do you search on the internet?

Every time you search on the internet, you can make a small donation to the school. How? It's easy. Just go to www.goodsearch.com and enter MPCS where it asks "Who do you goodsearch for?" Every time you perform a search, a small donation is made to the school. It really is that easy.

Do you shop on the internet?

From the same people that brought you goodsearch, the website that supports the causes you love, you can now donate a portion of your purchases from most major internet portals to Mountain Phoenix. How? It's easy. Go to Goodshop and enter MPCS where it asks "Who do you goodsearch for?" Then go to your favorite online outlet from the link on that page and a portion of your purchase will be donated to the school.

Attention Vitamin Cottage Shoppers

MPCS offers Vitamin Cottage Gift Cards in increments of $25, $50 and $100. If you shop at Vitamin Cottage please purchase cards through MPCS. You pay face value and we earn 5% to help support our school.

Here’s how it works. The first Monday of each month bring a check (Payable to MPCS) to school to purchase gift cards. Gift cards will be available for pick up at the school the following Monday. Use the cards to make all your purchases at Vitamin Cottage.

Grandrabbit’s Toy Shoppe

You now can help raise money for our school by shopping for toys, arts and craft kits, and books at Grandrabbit's Toy Shoppes in Boulder and Superior. When you shop at Grandrabbit's simply ask for "Bunny Bucks" to be credited to our school. 10% of the amount of your purchases will be credited to our account at Grandrabbit’s and our staff can use these "Bunny Bucks" to shop for MPCS next January.  This is my children's favorite toy store.  They have a fabulous selection, reasonable prices and free gift wrapping. Check them out online: grtoys.com.
