Winter Music Assemblies – 12/16 & 12/17

All Middle School Students & T/Th 5th Grade Orchestra Students

Wednesday, December 16
6:00 to 8:00 p.m. performance (Students must arrive at 5:00 p.m.)
Clear Creek Church – 10555 W 44th Ave, Wheat Ridge (44th and Moore)

Performance is mandatory! Every child is a music student at MPCS and part of their class experience is participating in a performance each semester.

Performance Schedule

The assembly will include:

  • Opening Remarks (6:00 pm)
  • Middle School Recorder Ensemble
  • MPCS 6th (and select 5th) Grade Orchestra
  • MPCS 7th/8th Grade Orchestra
  • MPCS Cello Orchestra
  • Intermission (7:15 pm)
  • MPCS 6th Grade Concert Band (15 Minutes)
  • MPCS 7th/8th Grade Concert Band (30 Minutes)

Concert Attire

Students must dress nice. Slacks (Black or Tan). Skirt/Dress for girls is acceptable, if preferred to pants. Button down shirt with collar for boys. Tie is optional, Nice blouse/top for girls. Dress shoes are preferred. Dark colored sneakers are acceptable.

All 4th and 5th Grade Students

Thursday, December 17
5:00 to 6:00 p.m. performance
Great Hall at MPCS

Students are strongly encouraged to stay after school. Snack and recess time will be provided and supervised by Mr. Perez and Mr. Kern. Students will help set up and tune at 4:15 p.m.

  • 5th Grade Band (15 minutes)

Concert Attire

Students should wear their clothes to school that day or bring a change of clothes with them for the performance. Students must dress nice – slacks (black or tan) or a skirt/dress for girls is acceptable if preferred to pants. Button down shirt with collar for boys. Tie is optional. Nice blouse or top for girls. Dress shoes are preferred.  Dark colored sneakers are acceptable.
