Registration Open for Adult Mental Health First Aid Training

Registration Open for Adult Mental Health First Aid Training

Registration is now open for Adult Mental Health First Aid Training for Saturday November 11th. https://www.eventbrite.com/e/adult-mental-health-first-aid-november-11-2017-sponsored-by-mountain-phoenix-community-school-tickets-38807086039

Adult Mental Health First Aid is an innovative, 8-hour course designed to give you the tools to recognize a range of mental health problems and the skills and confidence to help someone in a mental health crisis. The program offers a concrete action plan to help someone in crisis connect with appropriate professional, peer and self-help care.

This training is meant for our greater community. The Youth Mental Health First Aid Training is a specific training for faculty and staff at this time on Monday November 20th meant for people who work with or are around youth ages 12-18. That is another registration. Staff can come to the November 11th training in lieu of the Youth training if there is interest but only faculty/staff are invited to the training on the 20th at this time.

If you want to attend the November 11th Adult Mental Health First Aid Training but have a scheduling conflict, we will be hosting another training in the spring or you can attend any of the other trainings in our state that are open to the public. http://www.mhfaco.org/findclass
